May 25, 1935 – Pittsburgh Forbes Field off Guy Bush – Over right field roof onto a house across the street – 540 feet.

Babe’s tenure with the Boston Braves was a disappointment. He retired from the team and the sport on June1. But the last three struck on May 25 at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, were a fitting climax to the greatest slugging career of all time. The first one went 385 feet and landed in the right field lower deck, career number 712. Number two was a 500 – foot line drive landing in the upper deck in deep right center, career number 713. He then launched number 714 over the right field roof onto a house across the street, a 540-foot blast.
