The first pitch of the 1954 World Series between the New York Giants and Cleveland Indians. Sal Maglie is on the mound for the Giants, Al Smith is the leadoff hitter for the Indians. Wes Westrum is the Giant's catcher and Al Barlick is the home plate umpire. The Giants won the game in the 10th inning when Dusty Rhodes, pinch-hitting for Monte Irvin, connected for a three-run walk-off home run, barely clearing the right field wall.
