According to McDougald “It was hit so fast that you wouldn’t believe it. It cleared the fence by at least 50 feet and into the heart of a progressive wind that always blew from right field” The ball landed somewhere across 16th street, a distance beyond right field of at least 465 feet from home plate, right handed. He also hit a left-handed homer in the game.
